The 3rd Conference Integrated Optics - Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods.
23rd to 26th February 2009

Conference web-site: http://ios.polsl.pl/

The Optoelectronic Department at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, (Poland) is organising a scientific conference on 23rd to 26th February 2009 concerning Integrated Optics - Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods.
The co-Organizers of the Conference are the Committee of Electronics and Telecommunication of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Photonic Society of Poland, the Upper Silesian Devision of the Polish Acoustical Society and the Institute of Physics at the Silesian University of Technology.
The Honorary Patronage on the Conference has taken over by Professor Wiesław Woliński – Real Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The main goal of the Conference is to exchange knowledge in the scope of practical applications of integrated optics. The aim of the Conference is to present experiences in the field of technology and theoretical analysis of optoelectronic sensors and practical applications of sensing structures and the systems, as well as new methods in a wide understanding - metrology.

The Conference should contribute to closer relations between scientific groups and enable the intensification of a mutual cooperation for the development of practical optoelectronics and integrated optics. Outstanding optoelectronics experts from European countries and from Poland have been invited and promised to participate in the Conference. The Organizers invite very cordially young adepts of optoelectronics, integrated optics and sensors techniques – including students and PhD students.

Dear Ladies and Sirs,

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committee of the Conference on Integrated Optics - Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods, I would like to invite you very cordially to participate in the Conference and to deliver a lecture concerning your scientific domains.

The Conference will take place on 23rd to 26th February 2009 in Wisla in the Beskidy Mountains in Poland, in a wonderful winter scenery.
